I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 9 years old not having any idea that God had a purpose for my life.  He immediately began to put people in my life to encourage me.  When I was 13 the pastor at my home town church, Mt. Hope Baptist Church, started a Youth Ensemble.  He asked all the youth to start attending practice - I didn't even know I could sing.  I was more interested in playing sports, but my Christian parents and friends strongly encouraged me to participate in the Youth Ensemble that began to change my life direction!  Thank God for the encouragement of that pastor, my parents and friends.  God blessed me with the opportunity to participate in my high school FFA Quartet where we sang Country and Gospel tunes.  After spending a few years running from God's call on my life I realized that the Gospel Message was what I should be singing about.  Again God opened a door for me to join a singing ministry, True Foundation.
Like many young adults let happen, the world began to tug at me and cloud my mind.  My choices weren't always God's choices.  Social activities as well as my career became more important to me than the call on my life.  But God always has a way of getting our attention!  As the Bible says in Galatians 6:7 "For whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap."  Boy have I reaped!!!  I thank God that he is merciful and forgiving.  He's allowed me to use these life experiences to grow and become a stronger Christian.  God has given me the opportunity through the Praise24 ministry to share and encourage with others what He has done in my life.  I owe Him everything!!
When I begin to thank God for all His done for me, I thank Him for my wife, my children, my parents, my church family and my health.  What a wonderful Savior!  You know He really is worthy of our praise!!
